Senior Strategy Partner

Kalundborg, Denmark

Senior Strategy Partner, Global Manufacturing & Supply
Kalundborg, Denmark

Shape the strategic direction of one of Novo Nordisk's largest production areas, where your insights will influence decisions that ultimately reach millions of patients. If you thrive on complexity, enjoy challenging senior leaders, and want to see the impact of your strategic thinking at scale – this is your opportunity.

Your new role
As Senior Strategy Partner in the Global Manufacturing Supply (GMS) API Executive Office, you will own key strategic processes, act as a trusted sparring partner to senior leadership, and help shape the foundation for decision-making across GMS API. A central part of the role is to translate strategic priorities into clear deployment plans, meaningful targets and follow-up mechanisms that ensure progress and accountability across the organisation. You will work closely with the API leadership team and individual VPs – facilitating dialogue, challenging assumptions and ensuring clear communication across the organisation.

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for the API Manufacturing strategy from design to deployment including optimizing for engagement and follow-through

  • Strengthening the Strategy Partner network across GMS API to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and strategic capabilities

  • Owning and continuously optimising key strategic processes at API Manufacturing level ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and timely, high-quality output

  • Work on strategic important topics will also require you to establish a network broad in the organization – fast gaining insights and translating to storylines.

  • Acting as SVP Risk Coordinator and driving the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process across API – from risk identification through to a consolidated API risk profile

  • Leading or supporting business-critical assignments in the Executive Office, including analyses, presentations, workshops and follow-up on actions

  • Providing strategic sparring to senior leaders and individual VPs – challenging perspectives, surfacing risks and bringing new thinking from outside Novo Nordisk

  • Developing presentations and communication tailored to audiences ranging from employees to senior leadership, always with focus on key messages and context

Your new department
In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

The API Manufacturing Executive Office supports the Senior Vice President of API Manufacturing and the API Leadership Team. As a small, agile team, we own and facilitate strategic processes, drive organizational initiatives, and provide critical support and scoping to solve complex business challenges. Our work spans strategic deployment, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and business continuity – all essential to enable that our manufacturing operations are running smoothly and to support our ambitious growth plans.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced strategic thinker who is energised by complexity, comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and motivated by seeing structure and clarity emerge from ambiguity. To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • A Master's degree within Finance, Project Management, Business Administration or a similar field

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience from organisational development, strategy, communication, change management, business functions or top-tier consultancies

  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to create clear, compelling presentations and convey complex information to senior leaders

  • Excellent stakeholder management and network-building capabilities across organisational levels

  • Experience within strategy development, deployment, target setting or performance follow-up, with the ability to connect strategic ambitions to practical execution, is an advantage

  • Sharp analytical skills, allowing you to extract insights and meaningful conclusions from complex issues

  • Curiosity and daily usage of AI tools is an advantage

  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Danish is an advantage
