If so, you could be the new Supporter for Temperature Controlled Areas joining our Business Logistics & Purchasing team in Kalundborg.

Your new role

As a Supporter for Temperature Controlled Areas, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable operation, compliance, and continuous improvement of freezers, cold rooms, and other temperature-controlled storage areas across M1. You will become the subject matter expert for the area and work closely with operators, production teams, quality stakeholders, and other business functions to ensure robust processes and GMP compliance.

You will also contribute to ongoing optimisation initiatives and future upgrades of freezer and cold room facilities, helping improve storage solutions, validation strategies, and the overall handling of raw materials.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Owning requirements, qualification, validation, and compliance activities for designated temperature-controlled areas.
• Supporting change requests, deviations, quality cases, periodic reviews, and related GMP activities.
• Monitoring temperatures, alarms, capacity utilisation, and storage conditions to ensure operational excellence.
• Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and providing training and guidance to colleagues and operators.
• Representing the area during audits and inspections and acting as a trusted advisor for temperature-controlled storage processes

This is an on-site role where visibility and collaboration with stakeholders across the factory are essential to success.

Your new department

You will join Business Logistics & Purchasing, a department supporting M1 production facilities where products for people living with chronic diseases are manufactured. The department is responsible for business support, logistics, purchasing activities, warehouse processes, temperature-controlled storage areas, and related validation and monitoring activities.

The team consists of approximately 45 colleagues working across logistics, warehouse operations, purchasing, business support, deviation handling, and inventory management. The role offers extensive cross-functional exposure and close collaboration with around 450 operators across the production organisation.

You will join a department experiencing significant development and optimisation efforts, including improvements to freezer room layouts, validation approaches, storage management processes, and operational efficiency.

Your skills and qualifications

We are open to candidates at different stages of their careers. Whether you bring several years of industry experience or are earlier in your professional journey, what matters most is your ability to learn, collaborate, and take ownership of a specialised support area.

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

• Hold a degree within biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering, or a similar scientific or technical discipline.
• Have experience with validation, qualification, GMP-regulated processes, or change management activities.
• Possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data, documentation, and process optimisation.
• Communicate effectively in both Danish and English and enjoy interacting with stakeholders at all organisational levels
• Have experience from pharmaceutical manufacturing, temperature-controlled systems, SAP, or automation-related systems. This is considered an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person, you are outgoing, proactive, and comfortable working closely with operators and colleagues across multiple functions. You enjoy solving problems, driving improvements, and creating strong working relationships through clear and constructive communication.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 499,600 DKK to 734,400 DKK (DK) , corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
