The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden-Delkenheim Abbott GmbH location.
Validation Specialist ( Associate Professional Quality)
Primary Function
Conduct s quality-related activities to deliver consistent, high-quality documents, services, products, and processes, which add value to the business .
Core Job Responsibility
- Planning , initiation, and c oordination of validation projects , e.g., cleaning, process and equipment qualification/validation including validation of computerized systems .
- Perform Periodic Validation Reviews in alignment with current industry standards .
- Participates as Member in Cross F unctional Teams regarding validation topics.
- Ensures compliance to division & site policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits
- Defines project goals and milestones.
- Responsible for timely project completion.
- Ensures that solutions are compliant, innovative, thorough, practical, and consistent with organizational objectives .
- Applies problem-solving tools .
Education
-
Apprenticeship or Bachelor or master’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline is required OR relevant combination of education or experience.
Background
- At least 2 years work experience in Validation, Engineering, Quality, Production or related field experience; Less experience may be appropriate with advanced degree.
- Preferred experience in the Healthcare industy.
- Knowledge of GxP regulations, quality regulations/guidelines ( e.g., FDA, ICH, WHO) and in data integrity
- Fundamental knowledge of statistic s
- Demonstrate d successful project execution e.g., through previous positions or work experience .
- Fluent written and spoken German and English .
