Position Summary
The Distributor Performance Specialist role is part of the Infectious Diseases Business Unit at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics S.A.S., France.
The position reports to the relevant Key Account Management leadership within the Infectious Diseases division.
The role is responsible for monitoring, driving and improving the commercial performance of Abbott’s distributor network within the assigned scope. It focuses on performance management, distributor development and execution of commercial action plans, in close collaboration with Sales, Key Account Management and Marketing teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Activities)
- Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes
- Responsible for exhibiting professional behaviour with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.

Distributor Performance & Network Management
- Monitor, analyze and proactively drive distributor sales performance against targets, KPIs and commercial objectives.
- Lead the definition, implementation and follow-up of performance improvement and corrective action plans with distributors.
- Identify performance gaps, root causes and improvement opportunities within the distributor network.
- Support and challenge distributors in improving execution, product mix, coverage and commercial effectiveness.
- Actively contribute to distributor business reviews and performance governance forums to distributor business reviews and performance governance forums.
- Support distributor segmentation, prioritization and coverage optimization.
- Contribute to the onboarding and development of new distributors when applicable.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive activities and distributor feedback, and share insights with internal stakeholders.
Commercial Execution & Cross ‑ Functional Coordination
- Act as a key point of contact and reference for distributors on performance and execution topics
- Ensure proper execution of Abbott commercial strategies, promotions and product launches through distributors.
- Coordinate distributor activities with internal Sales Representatives, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Customer Service and Application teams.
- Ensure consistent and effective execution of commercial priorities across distributor markets, acting as a key interface between distributors and internal teams.
Reporting, Forecasting & Tools
- Provide performance analysis and translate data into actionable recommendations to support commercial decision-making and prioritization
- Contribute to sales forecasting accuracy and commercial planning processes.
- Ensure proper and consistent use of CRM systems and reporting tools.
- Maintain high data quality standards in all commercial reporting.

Education and/or Experience

- Proven experience in sales, channel management or distributor performance roles within the healthcare, diagnostics or medical devices industry.
- Demonstrated experience working with indirect sales models and distributor networks.
- Experience in diagnostics, infectious diseases or point‑of‑care testing is an asset.
Ability to travel ( 40 % of the time)
