The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden-Delkenheim Abbott GmbH location.
Primary Function
- Improving occupational health and safety through various assignments, programs and projects
Major Responsibilities
- Willingness to complete training as an occupational safety specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) through the relevant professional association.
- initiates and arranges safety & health programs and projects
- Appointment as Contractor Coordinator. Responsible for supervising and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations during activities carried out by external service providers on site.
- Performing minor repair and maintenance work
- evaluates workplace risk assessments
- develops Computer Based Trainings on occupational health and safety
- develops EHS information material, plans
- arranges and gives external and internal trainings and workshops
- edits Compliance & EHS SharePoint
- handles and documents accidents/incidents, develops and feeds departments databases.
