Internship in Logistics Engineering (all genders)

We offer you an internship starting as soon as possible for a duration of 6 months at the Dormagen, Monheim and Knapsack sites. In principle, it is possible to complete a master’s thesis afterwards. We look forward to receiving your online application.

YOUR TASKS AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

  • Taking independent responsibility for an initiative to further develop technical logistics and material-flow planning
  • Developing innovative logistics solutions for internal transport and storage, as well as effectively integrating service providers into the network
  • Supporting project managers in project execution
  • Taking on and independently carrying out work packages for data collection and analysis Exchanging with experts from operational functions to clarify technical questions
  • Supporting the establishment of a division- and function-spanning community on material-flow planning topics
  • Identifying relevant logistics trends in the life-science industry

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled (advanced) student (all genders) in engineering, technical logistics, industrial engineering or a comparable program
  • Prior knowledge in logistics (procurement logistics, production logistics and distribution logistics) as well as warehousing is an advantage
  • Willingness to capture on-site processes and equipment and to gather information
  • Very good command of MS Office
  • Interest in technical and business topics, especially cross-functional questions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as very good analytical and conceptual abilities
  • Enjoyment of innovative processes and a passion for changing challenges
  • High level of initiative and commitment
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken complete your profile
