Scientist DMPK & Digital Solutions (all genders)

Join our innovative Drug Discovery team and contribute to shaping the future of pharmacokinetics by combining your scientific expertise in drug metabolism and in vitro ADME with your enthusiasm for digital infrastructure. In this impactful role, you will support decision-making and drive efficiency across the DMPK landscape.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You design, execute, and analyze in vitro ADME assays with a strong focus on lab automation to support candidate evaluation

  • You serve as a scientific expert for DMPK in cross-functional project teams and provide strategic input

  • Preparing and communicating scientific findings to stakeholders will be part of your responsibilities

  • You gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of in vitro ADME, bioanalytics, and in vivo PK processes and their digital support infrastructure

  • In collaboration with your DMPK colleagues, you drive consistent data collection, reporting, and interpretation to ensure robust data stewardship

  • You act as Business Owner for key IT systems, overseeing DMPK data flow, central storage, and system interfaces

  • Working with internal and external partners, you ensure the implementation and maintenance of research-supporting IT systems

  • You help shape the strategic development of the DMPK IT landscape and ensure seamless operations

WHO YOU ARE

  • You hold a PhD in biology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field; PostDoc experience is a plus

  • You bring experience in developing and handling in-vitro assays and are highly motivated to contribute to drug discovery

  • You have a keen interest in IT infrastructure, digital systems in a scientific environment, and lab automation

  • Ideally, you have basic programming skills (e.g. R, Python) and knowledge of relevant data management systems

  • You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions are also part of your profile

  • You are comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic setting

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken and ideally basic German skills rounds off your profile
