Exciting Leadership Opportunity in Market Access – Survodutide
Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future of a One HP Priority brand? We are seeking an experienced and driven professional to lead our Market Access function for Survodutide, a key asset in our portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on global healthcare by ensuring optimal access and value for patients and payers.
In this role, you will oversee critical areas such as pricing strategies, market access planning, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), launch sequence optimization, health technology assessment (HTA) efforts, and payer marketing. You will lead a talented team of four professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders at global, regional, and affiliate levels to drive success.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Shape and drive the global market access strategy and integrate it into broader brand strategy
- Drives early market development and shaping activities to prepare for successful market entry and long-term patient access.
- Ensure that the product's value proposition is effectively demonstrated to payers and other key stakeholders, creates and delivers a differentiated and compelling payer-focused value proposition that addresses unmet needs and resonates with healthcare systems, payers, and decision-makers
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members, including regional and local colleagues, to prepare the market for the current and future needs and overcome obstacles to wide adoption of therapy
- Aligns evidence generation plans (e.g., RWE, HEOR, PMO) with the value proposition and address evidence gaps, collaborating closely with the Medical Affairs team. Integrates clinical, RWE, and health-economic evidence to support value demonstration and payer decision-making effectively.
- Leads and develops a high-performing Market Access team, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and psychological safety. Attracts, retains, and develops talent within the Market Access team.
Requirements
- A visionary leader with deep expertise in market access and commercialization, extensive experience required in developing and executing global/regional/local market access strategies, integrating payer insights, and aligning with therapeutic area priorities to ensure sustainable patient access
- Strong expertise in value-based pricing, evidence generation, and payer-focused value propositions to address healthcare system needs and support successful commercialization
- Ability to align cross-functional teams, addressing evidence gaps, and shaping external environments to ensure successful and sustainable patient access
- People Leadership - proven leadership in managing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving innovative approaches to market access
- Experience from one of the major markets, regions and/or global is key - deep understanding of global healthcare systems (US, EU, Japan, China) and market dynamics, with the ability to adapt strategies to archetype-specific requirements for optimal brand execution
- Strategic foresight, adaptability, and the ability to navigate diverse global and regional challenges while fostering collaboration and driving innovation to maximize the brand
