The Position

At Boehringer Ingelheim, you have the opportunity to make a decisive contribution to the sustainable improvement of human and animal health as a postdoc in the field of analytical development. Based in Ingelheim, you evaluate and implement new technologies in predictive stability and support team members with gained knowledge. In this role, you are part of a dynamic team and play a crucial part in accelerating the timeline with predictive stability models.
This position is limited for 2 years.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Developing models to predict parameters such as degradation products and dissolution over time will be one of your key responsibilities.
- In this role, you will design and execute experiments, analyze the resulting data, and present your findings clearly and effectively.
- Optimizing and developing HPLC and dissolution methods for drug products will be part of your daily tasks to ensure high-quality results.
- You will also evaluate existing models for accelerated stability of drug products, including programs like the Accelerated Stability Assessment Program (ASAP).
- Contributing to the improvement of stability for innovative dosage forms across various development stages will be an essential aspect of your work.
Requirements
- PhD in pharmaceutical, chemical or physical sciences
- Sound knowledge of Design of Experiment approaches and required software
- Experience in modelling experimental data
- Ideally experience in HPLC or dissolution method development
- Strong communication skills, structured work style and team spirit
- Excellent spoken and written English and German
