Cell Therapy Account Manager (m/f/d)

The Role
The Cellular Therapy Account Manager drives the adoption, utilization, and commercial success of Kite’s cell therapy portfolio across designated treatment centers.
Combining strategic account management with strong consultative selling skills, you will identify opportunities, shape customer needs, and deliver differentiated value propositions that position Kite as the partner of choice. Through impactful stakeholder engagement, you will influence key decisions, accelerate patient access, and generate sustainable business growth.
With a strong focus on execution excellence, you will ensure best-in-class, patient-centric service. You take ownership for results—translating strategy into action, removing barriers, and consistently delivering against ambitious targets.
As part of the commercial team, you will execute focused account plans, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to strengthening Kite’s leadership in cell therapy.
How you will help to ‘Create Possible’
- Drive demand and accelerate adoption of Kite’s cell therapy portfolio by proactively identifying, developing, and converting opportunities within target accounts
- Build and leverage senior-level stakeholder relationships to actively influence decision-making, shape treatment pathways, and position Kite as the preferred partner
- Continuously assess account dynamics, competitive landscape, and market developments with a clear commercial focus, prioritizing high-impact opportunities and driving account growth through identifying customer needs & barriers and delivering compelling, differentiated value propositions that translate into measurable business outcomes
- Take full ownership for account performance by defining clear priorities and rigorously executing strategic account plans to drive opportunity conversion, growth, and consistent delivery against ambitious commercial targets
- Drive seamless cross-functional collaboration across field and internal teams to ensure aligned execution, consistent customer engagement, and maximized commercial impact
- Generate and translate customer insights into actionable sales strategies and provide high-quality, insight-driven feedback to Commercial, Medical and Access teams to sharpen strategy, messaging, and field execution
- Represent Kite at scientific and professional meetings as well as congresses, maximizing engagement and identifying new business opportunities
- Demonstrate execution excellence and a strong performance mindset, while operating in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with a proven track record of success in field-based roles, ideally in hospital setting
- Graduate degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Health Economics, or related field required; ; postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA, PhD) preferred.
- Strong pharmaceutical market expertise, particularly with regards to health economy, access and reimbursement, product lifecycle management, as well as relevant laws and regulations; knowledge of the oncology/hematology landscape as well as established relationships with oncology, hematology, and stem cell transplantation (SCT) key opinion leaders and hospital‑based stakeholders are advantageous.
- Previous experience in the field of cell therapy, hematology or oncology as well as launching new products and portfolio management strongly preferred.
- Good analytical skills, business acumen and feeling for numbers, demonstrated by the ability to analyze, interpret, and apply data to inform sound decision‑making.
- Experience in managing large, complex accounts especially in the hospital setting including strategic planning, problem‑solving, and disciplined execution as well as excellent project management skills.
- Self-starter mentality, taking personal ownership and ability to navigate through ambiguity and change while remaining focused and prioritizing carefully with the willingness to operate hands‑on and a strong sense of urgency in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong team player with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and experience engaging senior management, ensuring alignment and delivering high-impact execution
- Demonstrates openness and adaptability to novel and modern ways of working, AI based approaches, digital tools, and evolving healthcare engagement models.
- High proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and outstanding written as well as verbal presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- High Fluency in German and English, both orally as well as in writing.
- Field-based role requires some overnight travel for meetings or congresses
