As Marketing Director, Adult Vaccines at GSK, you will drive the strategic direction and execution of innovative vaccines in Germany. With full accountability for delivering results aligned to strategic priorities, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of Brand Managers, leveraging customer insights to uncover disruptive and innovative growth opportunities. Responsibilities in this role:

  • Management of the marketing mix with a high level of responsibility for results in line with the strategic priorities for the innovative therapy in Germany (matrix leadership of the brand team)
  • Leading a team of multiple Brand Leads/ Managers including responsibility for their orchestrated implementation and talent development within these functions.
  • Taking responsibility to lead support and empower the brand leads to develop and implement the indication plans and connecting this to the overarching brand strategy.
  • Insight generation for the effectiveness of the promotion and uncovering new growth opportunities, also through own customer contacts.
  • Design of solutions in direct customer contact and through the application of market research instruments.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end execution, starting from the insight/strategy gained to the implementation at the customer's site, including x-functional leadership.
  • Bringing about alignment in the x-functional lead team via the most important growth driver.
  • Rolling operational planning (semester plans) and translation into territory/key account plans of sales.
  • Co-creation of the strategic and operational brand plan with the TA team (head office) as well as responsibility for the creation of local business plans.
  • Facilitation of the x-functional annual plan via agile performance management (business information systems for the most important growth drivers, commitment of sales)
  • Planning of turnover, sales and resources as well as monthly controlling.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketeer (m/f/d) in Vaccines, Primary or Specialty Care, with demonstrated pervious leadership and management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams, inspiring innovation, and driving impactful marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Competently operationalize strategies and design and implement strong, constructive performance management processes.
  • Entrepreneurial action with an appropriate willingness to take risks.
  • Distinctive, observable strengths in responsibility for results, proactivity, giving and receiving feedback, and internal collaboration.
  • Self-confident handling of complexity and ambiguity.
  • Ability to engage and mobilize others around a shared vision.
  • Excellent communicative skills with winning persuasiveness and corresponding presentation skills.
  • Understands ethical behaviour in the sense of GSK values and expectations as a matter of course.
  • Effective networking to internal and external interfaces, therefore very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Sales/ commercial experience is an advantage.
  • Fluent in German and proficiency in English.
