Medical and Scientific Advisor - Specialty Care

You will provide medical and scientific leadership for specialty therapy areas across the United Kingdom. You will partner with cross-functional colleagues, regional and global teams, external clinical experts and patient groups. Responsibilities:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Translate global and regional medical strategy into practical local medical plans and activities.

  • Lead scientific engagement with healthcare professionals, clinical experts, professional bodies and patient groups.

  • Design, support and oversee evidence generation activities, including real-world evidence and investigator-sponsored studies.

  • Provide medical input to launch readiness, lifecycle planning and cross-functional project work.

  • Ensure scientific accuracy, medical governance and compliance of medical materials and communications.

  • Capture, analyse and share medical insights to inform strategy and decision-making.


Why You?

Work arrangement:

This role is offered as a hybrid position based in the United Kingdom with a mix of office and remote working. Occasional travel across the UK will be required and occasional international travel may be needed.



Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • Degree in Medicine or Pharmacy (for example MBBS, MBChB, MPharm).

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical affairs, clinical development or a related pharmaceutical/biotech role.

  • Strong clinical and scientific knowledge relevant to specialty care therapy areas.

  • Experience engaging with healthcare professionals, key external experts and scientific organisations.

  • Proven ability to translate clinical evidence into clear medical strategy and plans.

  • Professional proficiency in English and ability to work in a matrix environment.



Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

  • Experience in specialty medicines

  • Experience in evidence generation, real-world evidence or investigator-sponsored research.

  • Familiarity with UK healthcare environment, regulatory landscape, and market access pathways.

  • Experience supporting product launches and lifecycle management from a medical perspective.

  • Experience with medical governance and final medical signatory responsibilities.

  • Comfortable using digital tools and multichannel approaches for scientific exchange.
