Scope

We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Scientist specialising in Single-Cell RNA, TCR data analysis, and experience in deep learning, structural biology, and immunology. This role will be a key contributor alongside a team of talented computational biologists and experimental scientists in the Oncology Translational Research Department. The Scientist will be responsible for combining single-cell TCR sequencing analysis with advanced machine learning approaches to predict TCR:peptide-MHC interactions, characterise tumor-reactive T cell repertoires, and develop predictive biomarkers for therapy response in precision immunotherapy programs.

In this role, You will:

  • Lead comprehensive analysis of single-cell RNA-seq with paired TCR sequencing including clonotype identification, repertoire diversity, and integration with transcriptional phenotypes; building and maintaining pipelines in Python.
  • Work with deep learning architectures (transformers, graph neural networks, CNNs) for TCR:pMHC interaction prediction using sequence and structural features.
  • Collaborate closely with the Oncology Translational Research team members, immunologists, and AI/ML engineers to translate TCR insights into clinical biomarkers.
  • Develop predictive biomarker signatures correlating TCR features with clinical outcomes and support companion diagnostic development.

Why You?

Basic Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in single-cell RNA-seq and TCR sequencing analysis (Seurat, Scanpy, scRepertoire, Scirpy).
  • Proficiency in Python with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
