Job Description:

At Ipsen, our people play a vital role in bringing transformative medicines to patients. We are a global biopharmaceutical company supported by a culture of collaboration, excellence and purpose. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Global HR team as a strategic partner to senior leaders across Global Quality and Global Supply Chain, helping align people priorities with business objectives across Technical Operations and Strategy & Transformation.

About the role

As Global HR Business Partner for Technical Operations and Strategy & Transformation, you will partner with defined leadership team members to align HR strategies with business goals. You will provide strategic and operational HR support across talent management, organisational development, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and change initiatives, while contributing to high engagement, performance and effective HR delivery across the supported functions.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to senior leaders and the Global HRBP Lead, translating business priorities into effective people plans.

  • Lead and support talent management initiatives, including acquisition, development, succession planning, retention, performance calibration and talent reviews.

  • Partner with Centres of Excellence and local HR teams to deliver consistent, high-quality HR solutions.

  • Build, monitor and use dashboards, KPIs and workforce data to support HR campaigns, budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning and organisational effectiveness.

  • Enable transformation by supporting organisational design, capability planning, resource allocation and practical change solutions with leaders and stakeholders.

  • Provide guidance on employee relations, compensation, equity, diversity and compliance in partnership with local HR and relevant Centres of Excellence.

About you

You will be an experienced HR Business Partner who can operate confidently in a complex international environment, balancing strategic partnership with practical delivery. You will be comfortable working closely with senior leaders and HR teams to turn business priorities into clear, effective people plans.

A background in pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, production or another highly regulated environment would be valuable, particularly where quality, compliance, operational excellence and stakeholder alignment are central to success.

What you’ll bring

  • Ability to translate business priorities into people strategies that support engagement, performance and organisational effectiveness.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, labour laws, employment practices and effective partnership with Centres of Excellence and local HR teams.

  • Experience partnering with senior leaders through transformation, organisational design, workforce planning, talent reviews, performance calibration or annual compensation cycles.

  • Strong analytical, communication, coaching and influencing skills.

  • Confidence working across cultures, geographies and matrixed stakeholder groups.

  • Fluent English; French language skills would be a plus.

Why Ipsen?

At Ipsen, we are committed to improving patients’ lives while creating an environment where people can grow, collaborate and deliver meaningful impact. You will join a purpose-led global organisation where HR partners closely with leaders across quality, supply chain and transformation to strengthen performance, capability and employee engagement.

Ready to shape the people agenda behind life-changing work? Join Ipsen and partner with global leaders to enable transformation, strengthen high-performing teams and help deliver meaningful impact for patients.
