You will also get to know meaningful interface areas internally and externally in Germany as well as in Europe. Key Responsibilities:

Applies in-depth knowledge of the current regulatory environment, political landscape and relevant experience related to the German governmental stakeholders, policy makers, legislative processes, the hospital reform details and the emerging German regulations impacting our Bus.

Provides strategic feedback on commercial decisions and innovation initiatives to drive organizational growth and visibility, leveraging extensive experience in political engagement and collaboration with governmental stakeholders, federal and state authorities, and healthcare associations.

Delivers advocacy strategies that encompass corporate goals and policy position by utilizing key metrics, project management tools, and impact analyses.

Completes business impact assessments based on forecasted changes within the regulatory environment to support the development of modification strategies.

Executes processes to mitigate regulatory risk and ensure the accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of compliance-based processes and operations under general supervision.

Serves as a resource on government affairs and policy issues and identifies opportunities to improve policy initiatives in support of business objectives.

Monitors legal and regulatory developments in the business environment. Develops mitigation strategies with internal business partners based on joint opportunity and risk analyses.

Identifies prospects for engagement with industry coalitions and advocacy groups and helps with dissemination of information regarding the organization’s policy agenda.

Coaches more junior colleagues and internal business partners in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree or equivalent expertise in health economics, health care management, public health, or political science.

2-3 years of confirmed experience in health policy, health economics (especially hospital management), or the medical device industry, particularly in Government Affairs & Policy.

Background in political fields (e.g., positions in Bundestag, Landtag, or party headquarters) is mandatory.

Strong understanding of political processes and their implications.

Experience in the political field (e.g. positions in the Bundestag, Landtag or party headquarters) and robust network of political decision-makers and associations at the federal and state levels round off your profile.

Excellent analytical, intercultural competence, communication, and teamwork skills.

High degree of flexibility, creativity, and commitment.

Fluent in written and spoken German and English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is € 62.500,00 to € 97.865,00.
