Intern Manufacturing in Mammalian (80-100%)

The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland.

The Intern Integrated Biologics Mammalian Lab Scale Manufactruing provides technical and operational support for GMP manufacturing operations supporting BMS, USP, and DSP. We are looking for an intern to support the high volume of cleaning validation of large-scale stainless-steel bioreactors, media, buffer, and product pool tanks required in our GMP facility.

The role works within the Operations team and will partner closely with all relevant manufacturing stakeholders.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you'll do:

• Ensure timely, high-quality preparation, creation, review, optimization and control of of assigned tasks with a Right First-Time mindset.

• Support manufacturing staff in the field as well as with administrative tasks.

• Assist in collecting supporting information for deviations, change requests, CAPAs and investigations related to cleaning topics.

What we are looking for:

• BSc or MSc in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or related field or high school diploma with strong intend to pursue a career in the aforementioned fields.

• Fluent in English and German is advantageous

• Structured, detail oriented, and quality‑focused mindset

• Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills

• Ability to prioritize and perform in a dynamic manufacturing environment
