The Position

As a core member of Roche’s global Recruiting Practice leadership team, the Recruiting Lead Germany & Enterprise Recruiting Lead Operations & Quality drives the strategic and operational delivery of recruitment across the responsible areas . This role builds and leads high-performing, networked, and agile recruiting teams aligned with the company’s People & Culture operating model & Strategic Framework, business network needs, and 10-Year Ambitions. You will actively contribute to the strategic vision and direction of the AoP and continuously seek opportunities for innovation and value creation. You are accountable for providing a close link to our customers, prioritizing work within the responsible areas and elevating local needs to the REC Enabling Team based on strong cultural and business understanding. This role will ensure consistent approaches within Germany and harmonized processes.
You will inspire and coach recruiting leaders, build skills and capabilities to drive people development for the AoP and a high performing Recruiting AoP.

Strategic Leadership : You will serve as a trusted advisor to the Global Recruiting Practice Lead, translating enterprise and business strategies into actionable recruitment plans. You'll be responsible for the design and execution of our recruiting strategy to ensure speed, quality, and equity in hiring across diverse geographies and business units.

Team Leadership : You will lead, coach, and inspire a geographically dispersed team of recruiting professionals, fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe culture that encourages collaboration and high performance. You'll champion capability development, onboarding, and continuous performance feedback to ensure your team's success.

Operational Excellence : You are accountable for providing a close link to our customers, prioritizing work within your responsible areas, and elevating local needs. You'll oversee headcount and requisition capacity planning, team structuring, and operational forecasting, defining and tracking KPIs to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management : You will partner closely with business leaders and People & Culture colleagues to anticipate talent needs and build holistic recruitment strategies. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing key hiring insights and opportunities.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement : You'll leverage data and systems to optimize sourcing strategies and recruitment cycle time. This role will drive experimentation with new technologies, sourcing channels, and AI-driven solutions, creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the regional recruiting practice.
Who You Are

You are a strategic thinker who can see the big picture and operationalize it through scalable talent strategies, and you have a proven track record of leading teams through complex change.

Experience & Expertise: You have 10+ years of experience in recruiting or executive search , ideally within the biotech, pharma, or tech industries. This includes 5-7 years in a people leadership role within a complex, matrixed, or global environment. You have strong functional expertise in full-cycle recruiting, workforce planning, and talent strategy.

Leadership Attributes: You are a servant leader who coaches and inspires others with a vision for recruitment. You are a change catalyst who role models agility, resilience, and a commitment to continuous learning. You are a strategic thinker and systems leader who can build scalable systems, communities, and structures.

Data & Technology Fluent: You are comfortable using analytics and data-driven insights to inform your decisions and optimize performance. You are excited to leverage new technologies and AI to drive better results.

Collaborative & Partner-Oriented: You have a collaborative mindset , able to partner effectively with business leaders, People & Culture colleagues, and other cross-functional teams to achieve the best hiring outcomes.

Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and are fluent in German and English . Coaching certification or relevant training is advantageous.
