We offer you a practice-oriented dual study program starting August 1st, 2026, in cooperation with the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) Mannheim, in the field of Business Administration – Digital Business Management (B.A.) .

What does the program look like?

During the dual study program, you will alternate every three months between theoretical phases at DHBW and practical phases at UCB.

Monheim (am Rhein) or Mannheim? Both!

The program begins on August 1st, 2026, with a two-month introductory phase in Monheim am Rhein (NRW), allowing you to get familiar with UCB, meet your cohort, and connect with colleagues before your studies begin.

Your first theoretical phase at DHBW in Mannheim (BW) will start in October or November 2026, depending on your study track. The total duration of the program is six semesters.

Your training at UCB is tailored to your interests. Depending on which departments and areas you’d like to explore, we’ll work with you to create a personalized training plan for your practical phases.

What do we offer?

  • Fair compensation according to the chemical industry tariff:
    • 1st year: €1,204
    • 2nd year: €1,315
    • 3rd year: €1,389 gross (subject to tariff changes)

What qualifies you for a dual study program at UCB?

  • General or subject-specific university entrance qualification (Abitur or Fachhochschulreife)
  • Good to very good math skills
  • Good to very good proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Independent working style & initial work experience through internships, holiday or part-time jobs
  • Engagement in school and extracurricular activities
  • Motivation to perform & willingness to learn
  • Quick comprehension & strong goal orientation
  • Initiative & team spirit
  • Outside-the-box thinking

Applicants who are not citizens or permanent residents of Germany must hold a valid residence permit and work authorization at the time of application.

Please note: The primary language of communication and instruction throughout the dual study program is German. Therefore, fluency in German is essential for successful participation in both theoretical and practical phases.
