We are looking for a Medical Manager for Osteoporosis for our German affiliate organization in Monheim am Rhein, Germany. Hybrid working is also possible for this role, so that the main part could be remote.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for all Medical Solutions in Osteoporosis (projects and activities with HealthCare Professionals) in Germany. The solutions can be initiated and implemented locally in the country or as part of the EU and global strategy.

Who you will work with

You will be responsible for regular exchanges between the EU Strategic Operations Team and the area regarding medical projects and activities in Osteoporosis. You will collaborate with the Medical Strategy Lead and the Field Medical Team on projects and guideline initiatives. In this role, you will ensure a holistic approach in providing solutions with added value for patients, Health Care Professionals, and payers. You will be part of the Medical Team in Germany, where intensive collaboration with relevant stakeholders at the local and EU level is expected.

What you will do

• Localization and implementation of the medical-scientific strategy, action plans, and materials in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Strategy Lead, Field Medical Lead, Marketing, Franchise Head, Ecosystem Leads.
• Ensuring scientific appropriateness and consistency in the creation and implementation of materials and solutions.
• Leading scientific local initiatives in cooperation with the Medical Strategy Lead (e.g., Advisory Boards, Steering Committees).
• Managing sponsorships, donations, and medical-scientific collaborations.
• Ensuring compliance and quality in cooperation with Legal, Compliance, and Medical Strategy Lead in the creation and implementation of all materials and activities.
• Conducting training for new franchise members, supporting the Field Medical Team and the Medical Strategy Lead.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• Master´s degree in Biomedical Science, Phd. preferred
• Experience in pharma industry
• Min.2 years experience in the medical field, e.g. as a Medical Manager or MSL
• Fluent in English and German
• Knowledge of the immune system, knowledge in osteoporosis is advantageous
• Ability and willingness to travel
