We are looking for a Medical Solution Manager Rheumatology (m/w/d) who is science-driven, collaborative, and patient-focused to join us in our affiliate, based in Monheim am Rhein, Germany.

This will be a fixed term contract for 12months.

About the role

As Medical Solution Lead for Rheumatology (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of medical solutions (projects and activities with healthcare professionals) across Germany. Solutions may be initiated locally or aligned to EU and global strategies. You’ll ensure a holistic, patient value approach that benefits patients, HCPs, and payers, as a core member of the Medical Team in Germany, reporting to the Medical Strategy Lead Rheumatology.

Who you will work with

You will collaborate closely with cross functional stakeholders including the EU Strategic Operations Team, Medical Strategy Lead, Field Medical Team, Strategy Lead, Solution Leads, Franchise Head, Ecosystem Leads, and partners in Digital, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Supply, and Regulatory to cocreate and implement high-quality scientific materials and activities.

What you will do

  • Maintain regular exchange with the EU Strategic Operations Team on medical projects and activities in rheumatology.
  • Lead national scientific initiatives for new indications and products (e.g., advisory boards, steering committees) with the Medical Strategy Lead; collaborate with the Field Medical Team on pipeline and guideline initiatives.
  • Localize and implement medical scientific strategies, action plans, and materials with internal stakeholders (e.g., Strategy Lead, Field Medical Lead, Solution Leads, Franchise Head, Ecosystem Leads).
  • Ensure scientific appropriateness and consistency in all materials and solutions; drive continuous optimization, including cross-franchise collaboration (e.g. Dermatology).
  • Gather, analyze, and share key insights from the therapeutic area(s) to inform strategy and execution.
  • Manage sponsorships, donations, and medical scientific collaborations in line with compliance expectations.
  • Adapt, execute, and regularly review the medical strategy in partnership with EU Strategic Operations and the Medical Strategy Lead.
  • Co‑create the annual brand plan with a transversal team; monitor variable OPEX and performance.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Fluent English.
  • Solid knowledge of the immune system; rheumatology expertise is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking and accuracy.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced qualifications (Master’s/PhD or Medical Degree) are advantageous.
