Trainee Convention Management

We are looking for a Trainee Convention Management who is proactive, service-oriented, and highly organized to join us in our Patient Impact Germany team, based in our Monheim office in Germany . This position is offered as a fixed-term contract for a duration of twenty-four months.

About the role

You will support the planning, organization, and execution of national and international events, congresses, and internal meetings. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Medical and Marketing colleagues to ensure smooth operational delivery, strong participant management, and high-quality event execution, contributing to impactful experiences for both external and internal stakeholders.

Who you’ll work with

You will be working within the Convention & Project Support team and in close collaboration with Medical and Marketing Solution Leads. As part of a supportive and cross-functional environment, you will interact with agencies, suppliers, internal subject matter experts, and operational partners to bring events successfully to life.

What you’ll do

  • Support planning and delivery of medical events, congresses, advisory boards, and internal meetings.
  • Assist with brand and product presentations, including exhibition booth planning and oversight.
  • Coordinate suppliers and support tender processes for venues, design partners, and logistics.
  • Manage participant communication, registration, travel coordination, and documentation.
  • Provide on-site event support and ensure timelines, quotas, and approval processes are met.
  • Support budgeting, project tracking, and post-event invoicing.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable training in event management.
  • Strong organizational skills, service orientation, and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize efficiently and work flexibly in dynamic environments.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and confident working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Very good German and good English language skills.
