
Risk Based Quality Management Trainee (m/f/d)

To strengthen our organization, we are looking for a Risk Based Quality Management (RBQM) Trainee (m/f/d) in Clinical Data Management department to be based in Monheim am Rhein, Germany.
This is a fixed-term role up to 2 years.
About the role
The Risk Based Quality Management (RBQM) Trainee, supports RBQM activities around risk assessment and management planning, Centralized Monitoring and implementation of new capabilities in the Risk Management and Centralized Monitoring (RM&CM) department.
By reviewing clinical study protocols, the RBQM Trainee is responsible for the analysis of historical and current protocols designed by UCB as well as other Pharma companies (as available) and transfer of this information into UCB’s proprietary database platform under the supervision of the Risk Management Lead (RML). The impact of these activities is utilized to enhance the knowledge management capabilities of UCB to improve the development of patient-focused, high quality study protocols to support the delivery to patients of innovative solutions that meet their unmet needs.
Additionally, the RBQM Trainee may be assigned to support the development and deployment of new RBQM capabilities in the RM&CM department by providing data insights, creating reporting tools, and analyzing literature data.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate closely with the Risk Management Leads and Centralised Monitoring Leads and interact with Subject Matter Experts (such as Clinical Project Managers, Study Data Leads, Clinical Solutions Analysts, ect) and study team members. You may also participate in cross-departmental projects.
What you will do
- Review final and approved protocols of historical or current UCB studies focused on key elements of each study’s design.
- Complete data entry of key study design metadata into UCB’s proprietary relational database platform.
- Create the appropriate relationships amongst study attributes within a platform based upon analysis of protocol.
- Analyze and summarize data, information, and insights enabled by the aggregation of this data, partially by using data analysis software.
- Pro-actively engage subject matter experts as appropriate and needed to complete responsibilities outlined above.
- Support study risk assessment and planning activities.

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D., J.D., or Medical degree (or equivalent qualification)
- Internet User skills
- PC User skills
- Analytical thinker
- Project Management (preferred)
- Programming (preferred)
- Fluent in English, basic German language skills
