About the role

As a Process Technology Manager, you will be responsible for all pack design changes (New Product Introductions (NPIs), Product Transfers, and Site Changes) in support of pack changes and packaging supply goals for local Haleon and External Supply Pharma sites.

Key reponsibilities:

• Conducts impact assessments pertaining to new packaging and packaging changes that may impact packaging processes, product stability and performance, and consumer perception, including the use of shared materials and/or suppliers internally with other areas and with other sites to maximize scale and efficiency as a business advantage.
• Ensures local regulatory compliance (MHRA, GMP…) and legal compliance (CRSF, tamper evidence, weights and measures, etc…) for packaging requirements.
• Accountable to support the supplier complaint process for packaging component issues.
• Utilize the appropriate tools (CHAMPS, CH-Pack, SAP and Veeva) to author/revise packaging instructions, SOPs, technical reports, risk assessments, technical change controls, and other site documentation as well as approve artwork and participate in the generation/modification of all packaging component development, documentation, and production.
• Lead the resolution of Packaging issues and risks that could result in negative business impact, drawing on best practice from the packaging community and Haleon network of suppliers and external experts. Conduct investigations of process/packaging deviations to determine root cause/corrective actions.
• Supports I&T area according to site priorities, actively collaborating with other site relevant areas such as Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering for projects: material simplification, productivity, CAPEX integration with processes and materials.
• Lead and support the improvement projects related to the packaging process of products.
• Participate in the PCT (Performance Centric Teams) and supports HAPS deployment mindset as required.
• Evaluates Packaging impact on change controls.
• Own and manage compliance records, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and events.
• Support person responsible for complaints during investigations/Investigation of complaints.
• Risk identification related to Technical, Safety, Quality, Supply, etc.
• Proactively solving problems to eliminate recurring issues.
• Project management for projects assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• BS in Packaging Science or related technical degree (preferably Engineer)
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering, product manufacturing experience in an industrial or cGMP environment.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment technology and packaging materials.
• Use of problem solving and continuous improvement tools
• Project management.
• Data analytics and Statistics
• Fluent in English and Spanish is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in field or plant operations
• Experience implementing FDA and/or GMP regulations
• Ability to articulate business vision to staff, peers, and senior executives
• ​​In-depth understanding of production forecasts and SAP systems​
• Problem Solving skills
• SAP, eBR, Serialization, Workday, Veeva, MyLearning, Office
• Teamwork
• Strong communication skills; ability to inspire others to improve
• Understanding of new packaging technologies and packaging materials
  

EUR 42.018,00 - EUR 57.775,30The salary range for this position is indicative and provided as a guide. The final offer may vary depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Further details regarding the total reward and benefits package will be shared during the recruitment process. Salary ranges may vary by location in line with local market conditions and applicable pay transparency regulations.Compensation information is shared for the primary location of this role. Where the position is advertised with additional locations the compensation range will be discussed during the recruiting process.
