Senior IT Process Engineer (POMS MES)

Your new role

As Senior IT Process Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, optimisation, and support of POMS , a business-critical Manufacturing Execution System (MES) supporting Clinical Supplies packaging and shipping processes.

Working closely with business stakeholders, IT colleagues, and external partners, you will drive the continuous improvement of POMS and related business processes, ensuring the solution remains reliable, compliant, and fit for future growth. Over time, you may also contribute to the wider digital landscape, including technologies such as Databricks, helping to strengthen the digital capabilities that support the global Clinical Supplies supply chain.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, building, testing, and supporting .NET/C# applications, APIs, interfaces, background services, and custom MES functionality.
• Developing and maintaining SQL databases, data models, stored procedures, and integrations that support business-critical processes.
• Driving optimisation and continuous improvement of POMS and related Clinical Supplies processes.
• Translating business requirements into robust, scalable, and compliant technical solutions.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across Clinical Supplies, Quality, Validation, and IT to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities.
• Coordinating development activities delivered by external suppliers and ensuring successful implementation of new functionality.
• Supporting testing, validation, releases, change management, and system improvements in accordance with GMP/GxP requirements.
• Acting as a technical problem solver and driving resolution of complex incidents and operational challenges.

Your new department

You will join CS Digital Solution , a team responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting digital solutions used throughout Clinical Supplies.

We work closely with colleagues across Line of Business, Quality, Validation, and IT to deliver reliable, compliant, and innovative solutions that support the supply of clinical products globally. The team combines strong technical expertise with deep business understanding and has a clear focus on continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivering value to patients through digital innovation.

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional .NET/C# development experience.
• 5-10 years of hands-on SQL development experience, including database design, complex queries, and performance optimisation.
• Experience working in GMP- or GxP-regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of computer system validation, data integrity, and quality processes.
• Experience developing enterprise-level applications, interfaces, integrations, APIs, schedulers, or similar technical solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is required. Experience with POMS, PAS-X, or comparable MES platforms is considered essential for success in this role.

In addition, we are looking for someone who:

• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Can work independently while navigating a complex stakeholder landscape.
• Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Enjoys collaborating across functions and building strong working relationships.
• Is fluent in English, written and spoken.

Experience from the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with Clinical Supplies processes would be considered an advantage.

What we offer

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000 to 956,900 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
