We are looking for a Digital Technology Lead Medical Affairs who is strategic, collaborative, and results-driven to join us in our Digital Technology Patient Evidence team , based in our HQ office in Brussels, Belgium .

About the role

This is a global IT role at the heart of how we support medical teams around the world. You will own the strategy, roadmap and day-to-day performance of the technology platforms that power our medical inquiry, outbound clearance and controlled access processes. You will make sure these systems stay secure, compliant and reliable, while shaping how we roll out new capabilities. Working closely with our strategic technology partner, you will help turn platform releases into real value for patients and for the teams you support. You will also be the main point of contact for these systems, connecting technology, quality, regulatory and medical stakeholders around a shared, unified approach.

Who you’ll work with

You will be working in a team that collaborates closely with Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Safety, and Digital Technology colleagues across the organization. You will partner closely with medical leaders and stakeholders, technology peers across clinical, quality, regulatory and safety areas, and colleagues managing related platforms, to keep everyone aligned on priorities. You will also build a close working relationship with our external technology partner and coordinate a mix of internal and external specialists to keep projects moving.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Medical Affairs digital technology platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global objectives
  • Oversee system operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, data integrity, and cybersecurity requirements across all supported platforms
  • Act as system owner, managing release cycles, validation activities, and continuous improvements to maintain high performance and compliance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience
  • Build and manage partnerships with technology providers to implement new features and stay aligned with industry best practices.
  • Ensure integration and connectivity across systems, enabling seamless data flow and supporting cross-functional collaboration
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in technology, life sciences, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in technology within a healthcare or life sciences environment
  • Experience working with content or document management platforms, ideally Veeva Vault would be a plus
  • Project management experience, ideally delivering technology projects end to end
  • Good understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for technology systems in a life sciences setting
  • Strong analytical thinking and solid business acumen
  • Fluent in English; any other language would be a plus
