As Business Finance Manager, you will turn financial data into insight that steers business decisions across the Danish and Icelandic affiliate. You will partner with the business, own core finance processes and challenge budget submissions to ensure resources go where they matter most. Your analyses and corresponding insights will help the affiliate act with clarity and speed, supporting better outcomes for the people who rely on our treatments.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

•  A Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a similar field.

•  3-4 years of relevant work experience from finance, consulting or a related environment.

•  Experience in business partnering and working in a cross-functional environment.

•  Strong analytical acumen and the ability to present the clear story behind complex financial analyses.

•  Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to build trust with stakeholders across cultures and functions.

•  The confidence to drive discussions and data-driven decisions among cross-functional stakeholders.

•  A proactive, self-driven and collaborative approach; to be comfortable taking ownership and driving meaningful business impact.

•  Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

What you'll do

In this role you will:

•  Own and drive comprehensive finance processes, connecting performance with underlying business drivers and strategic priorities.

•  Prepare and present performance reports to local management, highlighting the key trends the affiliate needs to act on.

•  Act as a finance partner to  line of business, the head of BFA team and the F&O director, supporting and steering strategic decisions through impactful analysis.

•  Partner across the affiliate, connect perspectives and challenge budget inputs ensuring cross-functional alignment on key financial targets.

•  Lead departmental and cross-functional projects that optimise processes within the team.

•  Contribute to a high-performing team by sharing best-practice methods and tools and giving honest, constructive feedback.

Who you'll work with

The Business Finance and Analytics (BFA) team is part of the  Finance & Operations department in the Danish and Icelandic affiliate of Novo Nordisk, based in Ørestaden, Copenhagen. The team is responsible for performance management of the sales affiliate, as well as dedicated finance partnering towards all areas of the affiliate. Our key responsibilities also include budgeting and in-depth market analysis based on latest sales dynamics and market insights. The team is characterised by a lot of energy and collaboration.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 650,960.00 to 956,860.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
