PharmaJobber - Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect

When you browse PharmaJobber, we process standard usage data such as pages viewed. If you subscribe to job alerts, we store your email address.

If you use our "active job search" service, you voluntarily provide, and we store:

• Your name and email address;
• Your preferred job location;
• A description of the kind of role you are looking for;
• Your CV / resume, which may contain further personal information.

2. Why we use your data and our lawful basis

We use the data you submit through the active job search service solely to look for suitable job opportunities for you and to contact you about them. Our lawful basis for this processing is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box when you submit the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 6).

For job alerts and general use of the platform, our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in operating the job board.

3. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run PharmaJobber, namely our cloud storage provider (used to store your CV) and our email provider (used to contact you). Where we identify a suitable job opportunity, we will discuss any sharing of your CV with a prospective employer with you first — we will not forward your CV to an employer without your knowledge.

4. How long we keep your data

We keep the information and CV you submit through the active job search service for as long as it remains useful for helping you find a job. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will do so.

5. How we protect your data

Your CV is stored privately and is not publicly accessible. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

6. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at martijn@pharmajobber.com (or simply reply to any email we send you) and we will action your request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
