Business Consultant - Data X Academy

The Position

Are you a business-oriented consultant, facilitator, and trainer who can translate strategic needs into impactful Data & AI upskilling initiatives? Join the Data X Academy, where you will help employees, business functions, managers, and leaders strengthen their ability to understand, adopt, and apply Data & AI in practical business contexts.

In this role, your contribution is not developing machine learning models or AI use cases.  Instead, you will design and deliver learning experiences, support business-focused Data & AI adoption, work closely with Data Scientists and subject matter experts, and help translate technical expertise into practical enablement for business audiences. You will connect business understanding, training delivery, stakeholder engagement, agile ways of working, and change enablement to create measurable learning and adoption impact.

This position can be filled in Ingelheim.

This position has a hybrid setup with approximately 2-3 days per week on site.

Tasks & responsibilities

• As Business Consultant you will design, develop, and deliver impactful Data & AI learning experiences, workshops, learning journeys, and enablement formats for business, leadership, and specialist audiences, translating complex concepts into practical business applications, co-creating content with experts, and continuously evolving offerings based on feedback, trends, and best practices.
• You will support the design, delivery, scaling, and continuous improvement of AI adoption programs by enabling colleagues to identify, frame, and advance Data & AI opportunities through training, coaching, facilitation methods, and business-focused learning activities while expanding facilitator networks across functions and regions.
• Partnering with business stakeholders and leaders to understand capability needs, adoption barriers, and strategic priorities, translating insights into business-relevant learning journeys and executive enablement formats that support transformation and informed Data & AI adoption will also be part of your role.
• You will act as the bridge between technical experts and business audiences by co-developing scalable, engaging learning content and jointly delivering programs that combine technical depth with strong facilitation, storytelling, and practical relevance.
• Furthermore, you will apply agile principles and methods to drive change and adoption activities by facilitating collaboration, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, and organizational alignment to ensure sustainable Data & AI capability building and business impact.
• You will strengthen Data X Academy’s role as a strategic connector and trusted enablement partner by cultivating internal and external partnerships, enhancing community engagement and visibility, identifying emerging needs and trends, and representing the Academy in cross-functional discussions.
• Contributing to the evolution of Data X Academy from a learning provider toward a strategic, enterprise-wide capability-building partner that connects business needs, expert knowledge, and scalable Data & AI adoption is also one of your tasks.
• Finally, you will collaborate closely with Data Scientists, AI specialists, business functions, leaders, HR, IT, and external partners to ensure learning initiatives are relevant, actionable, and aligned with organizational priorities and transformation goals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Economics, Natural Sciences, Business Administration (or a related field) or a bachelor’s degree with more relevant professional experience is also
• Several years of professional experience in business consulting, business partnering, capability building, learning design, change management, or related functions.
• Proven ability to design and facilitate engaging trainings, workshops, learning journeys, and enablement programs for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong stakeholder management, consulting, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate business needs and complex topics into practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments, applying agile ways of working and driving organizational transformation, capability building, and Data & AI adoption
• Experience in Learning & Development, adult education, instructional design, or enterprise-wide capability building initiatives as well as in in change management, stakeholder engagement, community building, innovation management, and Data & AI adoption support is desirable
• Experience or certification in innovation, transformation, coaching, and organizational development methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, Strategic Foresight, OKRs, Holacracy, or systemic/agile coaching) is an advantage
• Fluent English required, German language skills are a plus
