Head of Data Operations & Data Product

Are you ready to take ownership of a complex data landscape, build and optimize data and knowledge management in our Human Pharma Business? Step into a key leadership role where you will drive transformation initiatives, empower teams, and position data as a critical driver of business insights and as the foundation of analytics and AI.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Leading the data management strategy that focuses on enabling the Human Pharma Business strategy. You will focus on driving automation, at scale delivery, and performance across all data management to support business growth, efficiencies and agility.
• Driving the delivery of data products, you will ensure scalable, interoperable data products and solutions that enable AI & analytics across multiple domains.
• Ensuring high-quality data modelling, the role will establish robust structures for seamless integration of diverse data sources for actionable insights.
• Driving AI readiness, you will be accountable for ontology & semantic delivery and management. Ensuring data is AI ready, high quality and easily accessible for end users.
• Optimizing the operating model, you will oversee the end-to-end data lifecycle, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
• Collaborating across functions, you will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are harmonized and standards are adhered to across the business unit.
• Building and developing high-performing teams, you will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while driving performance against clear goals, delivering excellence in data management.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or MBA in Information Management, data management, or a related field.
• Several years of leadership in the pharmaceutical or another regulated industry or strong FMCG background
• Exceptionally strong business acumen and the ability to partner with senior business stakeholders to ensure both funding and business buy-in is critical to the success of the role.
• Experience translating business needs into scalable, reusable data products
• Track record in managing end-to-end processes, KPIs, and organizational change while ensuring compliance
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at executive level, the role requires strong communication capabilities, both written and verbal.
• Strong people leadership experience in global organizations.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus
