Global Technical Operations & Supply

Global Technical Operations & Supply (Global TechOp&S) is Chiesi’s global manufacturing and supply area, responsible for ensuring consistent, outstanding quality, service and value across our end‑to‑end supply chain. Global TechOp&S oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Throughout this journey, Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners.

This is what you will do

The Bio-analytical Scientist will be part of the Global Product Industrialization function and will be responsible for the development of analytical methods for protein-based products .

You will be responsible for

  • Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and execute analytical methods for protein-based products.

You will need to have

  • At least 8 years of experience in chemical/biochemical laboratory working with protein-based products, or 5 years of experience in the case of candidates holding a PhD.
  • Degree in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
  • Knowledge of the main analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation (including software):

o    Chromatographic techniques using UV, ELSD, MALS and fluorescence detectors
o    SDS-PAGE
o    Capillary electrophoresis
o    Immunochemical techniques such as Western blotting and ELISA
o    Enzymatic reactions
o    UV spectroscopy
o    Mass spectrometry techniques

  • Data analysis and statistical evaluation
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken

Compensation Range

The minimum salary for this role is € 46.000, aligned to our established salary framework. The final offer will reflect the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
