Job Purpose
As a Legal & Compliance Counsel, you will provide practical legal advice, support compliance initiatives, and help ensure the company operates in line with healthcare regulations and industry standards. You will work closely with the Legal & Compliance Director and business stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Provide day-to-day legal guidance to employees.
- Support GDPR and data privacy compliance activities.
- Drive transparency, anti-gift, and anti-corruption compliance programs.
- Develop and update policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Deliver compliance training and raise awareness across the business.
- Support legal and compliance activities for France, the Netherlands, and the wider BeNeLux region.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Position Requirements
- Master's degree in Law, ideally with a healthcare or life sciences specialization.
- At least 5 years' experience in a legal and compliance role.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations, transparency requirements, anti-corruption laws, and GDPR.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
