Product Manager Advanced Therapy Solutions Services (x|f|m)

Join our Advanced Therapies Solutions team (ATS) as Product Manager ATS Services (x|f|m) and play a key role in shaping the strategy and commercial success of our Process Development and Plasmid Manufacturing Services portfolio. Through strategic portfolio management, close collaboration with Sales, Product Development, Operations and Marketing, and a strong focus on customer needs and market opportunities, you will help deliver innovative service offerings that contribute to better health for more people. Based in Goettingen, Ajdovščina, Herstal, Illkirch or Lyon with the possibility to work some days in a week remotely, you will drive its development, launch, growth and continuous optimization while working closely with key customers and stakeholders across the organization.

Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities

• Define, communicate and execute the ATS-wide strategy for Process Development and Plasmid Manufacturing Services, providing the architecture and roadmap aligned with ATS and Sartorius priorities

• Translate customer needs, market opportunities, industry trends, competitive dynamics and emerging technologies into scalable service offerings, differentiated value propositions and portfolio priorities

• Develop and maintain business plans, portfolio scenarios, business cases, investment recommendations and pricing inputs to support sustainable portfolio growth and informed decision-making

• Manage the service portfolio across the full lifecycle

• Collaborate closely with Services Sales, Product Development, Operational Clusters, Portfolio Analytics and Central Marketing to shape service concepts, drive launches, activate markets and ensure commercial success

• Engage with key customers and industry stakeholders to validate customer needs, service concepts, value propositions and portfolio priorities, while serving as a strategic advocate and subject-matter expert for the ATS Services portfolio

• Define value propositions, differentiators, positioning and pricing principles, and translate them into clear commercial messaging and customer-facing offerings

• Provide Operational Clusters with portfolio visibility regarding demand expectations, growth assumptions, capacity implications and relevant deviations from business trends

• Develop and monitor portfolio performance indicators covering growth, profitability, pipeline, conversion, utilization, customer demand, delivery performance and launch progress, ensuring alignment with ATS and Sartorius objectives

What Will Convince Us

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field, MBA is strongly desired

• Several years of professional experience within life sciences, bioprocessing, advanced therapies and CDMO services

• Strong understanding of customer segments, development and manufacturing workflows, market dynamics, competitive landscape and industry trends within the advanced therapies environment

• Knowledge of Process Development Services, Plasmid Manufacturing Services or comparable bioprocessing and contract-service offerings

• Proven ability to translate customer needs and market insights into service strategies, value propositions, business models, business cases, pricing recommendations and investment proposals

• Excellent strategic, commercial, analytical and decision-making capabilities combined with cross-functional leadership skills

• Fluent in English

• Willing to travel up to 50% as this role is heavily focused on external customers
