What you will do

  • Lead the development and commercialization of Lonza's oligonucleotide service offering and growth strategy.

  • Own commercial strategy execution, driving market penetration, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

  • Serve as the scientific and technical subject matter expert during customer engagements, conferences, and strategic discussions.

  • Partner with Marketing to create technical content, value propositions, and thought leadership materials.

  • Identify market opportunities, competitive differentiators, and emerging industry trends.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Site Leadership, R&D, Portfolio Management, and executive stakeholders.

  • Provide strategic guidance on oligonucleotide technologies, process development pathways, and commercialization plans.

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

  • Extensive experience within CDMO, biopharmaceutical, or life sciences industries, including comme rcial or business development responsibilities.

  • Expertise in oligonucleotide development, manufacturing, or commercialization.

  • Strong strategic thinking, program management, and organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to influence and lead within complex matrix organizations and cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills with executive -level presence.

  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% for site visits, internal meetings, industry conferences and customer visits.
