How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • Manage a cross-functional team (SC, Procurement, MS&T, Quality, etc.) supporting
  • day-to-day operational activities.
  • Establish and execute governance processes to monitor and manage supplier performance.
  • Lead and resolve supplier and business conflicts by constructively driving conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop long-term supplier strategies, including
  • continuous improvement objectives, portfolio optimization, and growth or exit plans.
  • Proactively identify performance risks and coordinate the development of mitigation plans.
  • Communicate effectively and ensure alignment on business priorities with relevant stakeholders
  • Coach and support the development of cross-functional team members.

Your Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in supplier management, with solid knowledge of industry best
  • practices in Supply Chain and External Manufacturing Management.
  • 10+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry; on‑site manufacturing experience, and familiarity with bioprocesses and sterile operations are preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Operations; an MBA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, lead, and execute a wide range of assignments and action
  • plans, drive for results, and manage complex projects.
  • Strong strategic agility, broad perspective, and business acumen.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, conceptual, and quantitative skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills, including effective
  • cross‑functional collaboration, written and verbal communication, multicultural awareness,
  • high energy, and a strong bias for action.
  • Ability to craft compelling communications, influence diverse audiences, and lead change
  • management initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Ability to lead and influence without formal authority.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Approximately 10–15% travel expected.
