Business Operations Analyst, ADC, Germany

This position works out of our Wiesbaden, Abbott GmbH location in the Diabetes Care division.


Primary Objective of Position
• Support the Business Operations Manager as well as all internal and external stakeholders in monitoring and analyzing existing operational processes, end-to-end supply workflows and all relevant system. This also includes the evaluation of process workflows like document processing, ekv creation and prescription vs. social health insurance contract verification to ensure an overall customer journey.
• Drive operational excellence by closing process gaps, resolving interface errors, and improving operational
processes and the overall customer experience in close collaboration with internal and external
stakeholders.


Major Accountabilities
• Ensure efficient document processing, including scanning and OCR, to enable accurate data capture in VO+
• Address document-related issues promptly and coordinate improvements with relevant teams.
• Manage eKV creation processes, including the prescription vs. social health insurance contract verification, to ensure processual compliance
• Translate social health insurance contract rules into clear operational guidance and reduce processing errors through targeted improvements.
• Monitor key social health insurance interfaces (MIP, Egeko, LEOS, ZHP, OGSLE) to maintain data consistency and system functionality.
• Coordinate technical and process-related actions to resolve interface issues efficiently.
• Oversee the end-to-end supply workflow, focusing on RSP status management and the handling of clearing cases.
• Use findings from clearing cases to optimize workflows and prevent recurring disruptions.
• Support accurate and timely invoicing, ensuring consistency between process outputs and billing requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to correct discrepancies related to upstream processes.
• Analyze deduction cases by reviewing contractual rules, historical data, and case specifics to determine reimbursement potential.
• Provide recommendations that consider financial outcomes and contractual requirements.
• Perform structured analyses using BI tools, reports, and advanced Excel evaluations to support operational decisions.
• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement needs based on data insights.
• Manage a diverse network of internal stakeholders (e.g. market access) and social health insurance partners to ensure aligned processes and expectations.
• Serve as the coordination point for complex inquiries related to reimbursement, interfaces, and operational workflows.

Qualification:


• Minimum successfully completed vocational training like a Social Insurance Clerk (Sozialversicherungsfachangestellter)

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in health management or public Health connection with SHI experiences for medical devises

• Minimum 4 years work experience at SHI or health care supplier for medical devices
• Minimum 4 years work experience with reimbursement processes
• Work experience in SHI interfaces: MIP, EGEKO, ZHP, OGSLE
• Strong analytical skills with BI-Tool and Excel
• Very high hands-on mentality
• Action oriented
• Proven project- and quality management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in escalation management
• Fluent in German and English language
