The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden-Delkenheim Abbott Diagnostics Gmbh l ocation.
Supply Planner (m/w/d)
Primary Function
- Establish & carry out monthly/weekly reports/ dashboards & required KPI´s
- Overall responsibility for Demand & Supply Planning of Finished Products (Reagents, Cals, Ctrs, Disposables, Accessories and printed material) to ensure the customer service, the financial (inventory and distressed), quality & safety goals.
- Interdepartmental Coordination and Communication
- Support of the Abbott Affiliates
Major Responsibilities
- Demand Planning & Supply Planning of a defined product group to assure the availability of the products in the right quality, sufficient quantity at the required time and required place in our ADD ONE Planning System.
- Support the Affiliates with available information, reservations and special requests when required.
- Support financial exercise for Plan & Update cycles for a defined product group at required due dates. Provide a Supply Plan to the manufacturing sites.
- Set allocations, assignments and reservations according to requirements
- Analyze product shipments vs. FC´s, collect FC´s and revise numbers accordingly
- Solicit & consolidate demand forecasts for your new & conversion products with a view to ensure product availability and to minimize distressed.
- Carry out and participate at monthly Regulatory & Supply Chain Ramp up/ Ramp down calls.
- Support the continuous improvement efforts
- Establishment of ISO documents
Education
- Appropriate qualification in either Product Planning or Production Planning or Purchasing or
- University degree preferably in Business Administration / Logistics / IT/ Business Informatics or another economical education with min.3 years of work experience.
Background
- A high level of Expertise is required in solving logistics, expediting and purchasing problems,
- Good communication skills with a level of management within the organization,
- Good proficiency in English,
- Strong analytical skills,
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a sound knowledge of other standard office software
- Visual Basic Skills, Power BI skills and a sound knowledge of database and information systems will be an advantage
