Tasks & responsibilities
- You will contribute to shaping mid- to long-term Legal Operations strategies and influence the global operating model of Legal & Compliance.
- Acting as a key advisor, you will present strategic recommendations to leadership teams and drive decision-making aligned with business objectives.
- A comprehensive AI strategy will be designed and implemented under your leadership, integrating cutting-edge technologies into existing workflows.
- You will lead functional transformation initiatives within the legal function and across the broader organization, managing complex, undefined challenges.
- Under your leadership, innovative initiatives will be established, including pilot programs for emerging technologies and new service delivery models.
- Best practices for lean, risk-oriented legal processes will be defined and implemented while you coach cross-functional workstreams.
- You will monitor legal operations trends across industries, conduct benchmarking studies, and represent the function at relevant conferences.
- Performance measurement systems and predictive analytics will be developed to create executive dashboards and reporting mechanisms for Legal Operations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Law, IT, or Business Administration (MBA)
- Several years of profound experience in Legal Operations within an international consultancy or multinational legal department
- Proven track record in global project management, transformation, and cultural change initiatives
- Expertise in legal operations management systems, strategy roadmap development, and technology-driven solutions
- Strong analytical skills combined with strategic and long-term thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interacting with senior leadership
- Fluent in English are mandatory; German skills are beneficial
