
Program Manager - Platform Delivery

We are looking for an experienced and data-driven Program Manager to lead the software delivery operations of our Data, Analytics, AI & Integration Platforms teams. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate cross-team release planning, capacity management, budgeting, and operational excellence. You will champion continuous process improvement, agile best practices, and KPI-driven delivery to ensure our platforms scale efficiently and deliver maximum business value.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Capacity Planning: Strategically forecast and manage team capacity, ensuring optimal resource allocation across multiple projects and initiatives.
- Budget Management: Develop, track, and manage budgets for software development operations, aligning with organizational goals and driving cost efficiency.
- Release Planning & Operations: Oversee end-to-end release planning, scheduling, and execution for Data and Integration Platform teams, ensuring timely, high-quality, and reliable software releases.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Identify, implement, and champion process enhancements to boost team productivity, quality, and delivery speed. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Agile Best Practices: Promote and embed agile methodologies across teams. Facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive adoption of agile tools and practices.
- KPI Management: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance, delivery, and operational health. Leverage data-driven insights to inform decisions and drive improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams, business stakeholders, and leadership. Ensure clear, timely, and transparent communication on program status, risks, and outcomes.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field or Bachelor’s degree with several years of relevant work experience
- Several years of experience in program or project management in a software development environment, ideally with a focus on data or integration platforms
- Sound knowledge of capacity planning, budget responsibility and release management in agile, dynamic environments
- Proven experience in the introduction and application of agile methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) Strong skills in leading interdisciplinary teams as well as priority management
- Strong communication and organizational skills as well as confident stakeholder management Experience in the definition and reporting of KPIs. e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong interdisciplinary team leadership and priority management skills
- Experience in defining, tracking and reporting KPIs; knowledge of cloud technologies, data integration and DevOps is an advantage
- Strong communication and organizational skills as well as confident stakeholder management
