The Position

We’re looking for a (Senior) International Product Manager who can bring consumer marketing expertise, digital-first thinking, and brand storytelling skills to create campaigns that resonate emotionally and drive engagement globally.

Tasks & responsibilities

In your new role you will:

  • Contribute to global launch and commercialization strategy, ensuring patient-centricity and consumer relevance in both pre-launch and launch preparations
  • Translate consumer insights into differentiated brand positioning, creative campaigns, and multi-channel engagement strategies.
  • Drive innovation in marketing programs, leveraging digital, social, and experiential channels. This includes applying behavioral science principles, creating emotionally resonant storytelling, and building influencer/community engagement programs.
  • Collaborate with regional and local colleagues to ensure strategic alignment and launch readiness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (medical affairs, market access, regulatory affairs, HEOR, Drug & Device).
  • Support country teams in adapting and implementing the global brand strategy and content into their integrated customer plans.
  • Provide guidance on strategic data and operational metrics to optimize opportunities and support active marketing processes and planning.
  • Derive market, customer, and competitor insights from various sources, championing them within the cross-functional team and focus markets for meaningful strategy execution.
  • Develop and execute key global marketing end-to-end deliverables and commercialization activities based on stakeholder, disease, and brand insights.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and focus markets to define an innovative multi-channel strategy for customer engagement.
  • This includes leveraging e-commerce and digital health platforms, subscription models, and telehealth integration where relevant.
  • Work with the Analytics, Insights & Excellence team to co-design market research based on the assets specific needs, interpreting and applying the insights gained to develop the brand strategy.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities, adapting marketing strategies as needed.

Additional Tasks & Responsibilities as Senior Manager:

  • Actively shaping the global product launch and commercialization strategy well as driving pre-launch and launch preparations with a strong focus on patient centricity and market understanding.
  • Defining brand identity and strategy including brand plans and creative campaigns as well as ensuring their implementation.
  • Driving project leadership, innovation, and disruptive thinking evolving marketing programs in compliance with BI policies and global regulations, and supporting the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) team in understanding new channels, data, and capabilities.
  • Effectively managing agency relationships ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree preferred including PhD, Master of Science or Master of Business Administration
  • Several years of experience in consumer marketing, brand management, and product launches – regional and global. Preferred backgrounds: pharmaceutical, FMCG, health & wellness, nutrition, lifestyle brands
  • Track record of creating emotionally resonant campaigns that drive engagement and loyalty
  • Experience with omnichannel campaign management, influencer marketing, and digital performance optimization is a strong plus.
  • Product launch experience, particularly on a global basis, would be a strong plus
  • Additional professional experience in sales and/or market research/market access preferred
  • Strong ability to lead and influence others across large cross functional projects
  • Excellent strategic capabilities and analytical skills
  • Exceptional customer focus with experience of gathering and working with deep customer insights to drive dynamic brand strategies and tactics
  • Ability to apply behavioral science and consumer psychology principles to improve engagement and adherence.
  • Intrapreneurship, leadership and proven ability to deliver results in difficult conditions

For the Senior position, you need to bring these additional requirements:

  • Long-term pharmaceutical/biotech/FMCG industry experience in sales and marketing roles - regional or global assignments
  • Strong track record of successful brand management at local, regional and/or global level. Provide tangible examples
  • Proven experience dealing with customer data and digital norms in various countries
