The Position

We're on the hunt for a dynamic, agile, and entrepreneurial-minded Senior International Product Manager to start building our marketing team. This isn't just any role; it's an opportunity to shape the marketing strategy and ultimately prepare the launch for an exciting new asset in rare kidney diseases and beyond. 

As a Senior International Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our expanding Brand team as we are developing the marketing strategy for our first asset to treat primary FSGS.

BI 764198 (TRPC6i) isn't just another product, it's a novel, first in class investigational treatment in Phase III with the potential to redefine the treatment of pFSGS. Additional Phase II trials are about to begin to address other podocytopathies beyond our lead indication, as well as another Phase II trial in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new position, you will have the opportunity to actively shape and contribute to the global product, marketing and ultimately commercialization strategy, making a significant impact on our business growth. This will include brand name & color, message and packaging development, amongst other key strategic launch preparation activities
  • Your role will involve contributing to the brand strategy, which includes the development of comprehensive brand plans to drive brand uptake and customer engagement to ensure that we are leveraging the full potential of our highly differentiated product.
  • Moreover, you will be responsible for developing and executing crucial global marketing tactics, leveraging insights about stakeholders, diseases, and brands to create effective marketing materials.
  • In this role, you will also collaborate closely with colleagues from regional and focus markets, ensuring strategic alignment and readiness for product launches, thereby ensuring the smooth execution of our global strategies.
  • In addition, your role will involve working collaboratively with internal business partners, such as analytics and insights, patient access, medical affairs teams, and others to deliver initiatives that are aligned across functions, enhancing our overall business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lastly, you will be tasked with effectively managing relationships with agencies, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget, demonstrating your excellent project management skills and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) and extensive pharma/biotech experience in sales, marketing, and global product launches.
  • Proven success in brand management at local, regional, and global levels.
  • Experience in specialty care and rare diseases (e.g., kidney disorders, muscular dystrophies); broader rare disease knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills with ability to manage complex cross-functional projects.
  • Customer-focused mindset with expertise in leveraging insights to drive dynamic brand strategies.
