Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our Market Access team in Munich. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects that impact our business and the patients we serve. You will work closely with experienced professionals in the Market Access department and have the chance to apply e.g. your programming skills to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis and support visualizing those
- Assist in the development and implementation of market access strategies for new products
- Develop and maintain internal tools and dashboards to support decision-making
- Create presentations and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support for Market Access initiatives
- Conduct research on the German healthcare system, healthcare policies and regulations, and reimbursement processes
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential challenges and opportunities
- Support External/Governmental Affairs by conducting research on healthcare policy developments, stakeholder landscapes, and legislative initiatives in Germany, and prepare structured briefings, presentations, and background papers for internal and external use.
- Provide administrative and analytical support for Public Affairs activities, including stakeholder mapping, meeting preparation and documentation, and the creation of presentation materials and written summaries to facilitate engagement with governmental and industry stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in health economics, Public Health, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- In-depth knowledge of the German healthcare system
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in German and English is required
- Valid German work permit
Additional Information:
The duration of the internship is flexible but is typically between 3 and 6 months, depending on the candidate's availability and the company's needs. The intern will receive a stipend for their work. We encourage interns to also bring their own project ideas to the Market Access department, and we will provide support and resources to help you develop and execute your project.
