About the job
Our team
The EbM/HEOR vaccines team is an integral part of the Market Access team in Germany. We are responsible for planning, conducting, and publishing epidemiological and health economic studies that support our market access strategies with local evidence. Our work significantly contributes to demonstrating the value of our pharmaceutical products throughout their lifecycle, including the post-launch phase.
Through our studies, we address the evidence needs of key decision-makers such as the Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO) and other external stakeholders. Our focus lies on generating evidence regarding epidemiology, clinical and economic burden of vaccine-preventable diseases, public health impact, cost-effectiveness, and acceptance and uptake of our vaccines.
Our methodological spectrum is broad and encompasses literature reviews, secondary data analyses (particularly health insurance claims data and EMR analyses), economic evaluation, mathematical and decision-analytic modeling, as well as surveys. We work closely with local and global functions, particularly the local Medical team, to ensure our evidence generation aligns with strategic priorities and expectations of healthcare professionals. Scientific excellence is fundamental to our work and essential for successfully generating credible, impactful evidence that ultimately benefits patients by improving access to innovative vaccines.
