The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden site, Abbott GmbH in the Abbott Point of Care division.
Position Overview:
The Sr Manager, International Commercial Planning & Execution plays a critical role in driving the successful execution of product launches, lifecycle initiatives, and commercial projects across APOC’s international markets— EMEA, LATAM, Canada, and Asia Pacific . This role ensures operational excellence, cross-functional coordination, and data-informed execution. It also leads the coordination of the Strategic Plan and Tactical Execution Plan across regions, with a strong emphasis on portfolio management and pre-launch market preparation .
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio & Launch Execution
- Lead international product launches and lifecycle transitions across EMEA, LATAM, Canada, and APAC.
- Drive portfolio prioritization and market readiness to maximize commercial impact.
Project Management
- Manage cross-functional projects using structured methodologies; track milestones and ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate Commercial Management Review meetings to align stakeholders.
Analytics & Insights
- Analyze internal/external data to assess launch readiness and performance.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor progress, identify risks, and support decision-making.
Strategic & Tactical Planning
- Coordinate International Strategic and Tactical Plans, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and timelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as central liaison between global and regional teams; share best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Ad-Hoc Initiatives
- Lead high-impact projects outside regular planning cycles, aligned with business priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, or scientific discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in commercial roles within healthcare or diagnostics. Finance background is a plus.
- Proven experience in product launch execution, project management, and commercial analytics.
- Strong analytical and financial skills; proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
- Experience working across international markets, particularly in EMEA, LATAM, Canada, and Asia Pacific .
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex projects.
