Abbott Diabetes Care, Abbott GmbH is looking for a Senior Market Access Manager EMEAP (m/f/d), based in Wiesbaden or in one of the EU BIG 5.

Are you passionate about innovating the management of Diabetes across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and making a transformational impact on patients living with diabetes? We are looking for dedicated professionals like you to join our team and improve patient access to innovative sensing technology.
Major Accountabilities
- Develop and drive EMEA market access strategy for the ADC product portfolio, ensuring market access launch readiness in all EMEA markets.
- Differentiate our products by supporting the markets to adapt or evolve a global value story to a local healthcare context in order to avoid price erosion and expand access. Develop appropriate communication platforms to reinforce the value messages for our products
- Design and implement innovative mechanisms to enable and expand reimbursement, focusing on new customer segments, new products, and digital health solutions.
- Partner with payers to develop innovative integrated digital solutions and value modules.
- Negotiate for local reimbursement expansion as needed, analyzing and proposing financial offers based on economic models in collaboration with EMEAP finance. Maintain and curate a tender/pricing database for financial models.
- Travel: Approximately 20% (depending on location)
Education
- Required: Advanced Degree in Science, Economics, Legal or related areas.
- Preferred: Medical Degree, Master’s Degree in Market Access, Public Health, Health Economics, or Health Policy.
Background and Experience
- Experience Preferred:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in regional or global reimbursement and market access functions in pharma/medical devices or related functions in payers/market access/healthcare consultancies/disease management organizations.
- Additional experience in local market access is a plus.
- Understanding of diabetes and blood glucose measuring business is beneficial.
- Proven track record of defending established products and bringing new products into reimbursement.
- Strong negotiation and project management skills.
- Ability to drive execution of plans with support from other functions.
- Strong background in evidence-based medicine, public health, market access, competitive effectiveness research, or health economics.
- Diligence, teamwork, and executive communication skills.
