Digital Workflow Engineer (m/f/d)

Collaboration is at the heart of our work. Within the Small Molecules (SMol) group, we integrate data and model-driven innovation to shape the future of crop protection.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You work in a fast-paced R&D environment, creating systems with TypeScript, Node, and React to interact with automated machinery.
  • You design databases, develop SQL queries, and build JSON APIs.
  • You contribute to product design and specification, providing valuable feedback.
  • You bring creativity and flexibility to problem-solving while ensuring high-quality solutions.
  • You are responsible for code development, debugging, testing, implementation, support, and enhancement of automated system software for agricultural research.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have completed a Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
  • You bring several years of experience in a programming field, database design, or server admin
  • You are proficient in programming JavaScript/Typescript
  • You are an expert in SQL Query Development, Relational Database Design, and JSON API development
  • You are experienced in Git source control and GitHub Actions automation (familiarity with Docker and Continuous Integration tools is a plus)
  • You are enthusiastic, creative, and proactive, and demonstrate bold and out-of-box thinking
  • You bring high energy, clear goal orientation, and strong work ethic, with a “can do” attitude
  • Your strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communications skills are strong
  • Your fluent English skills round off your profile is the main work language
