PostDoc in Chemical Process Development (all genders)
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independent development of innovative research ideas to optimize synthetic routes as well as the designand management of collaborative projects
- You are responsible for the effective planning, monitoring and evaluation of experiments with the aim ofdeveloping a cost-efficient, sustainable and safe process
- You plan and carry out project tasks independently based on agreed priorities and deadlines
- You exhibit leadership and ownership of assigned tasks
- You ensure the adequate recording of intellectual property and its management including completedocumentation of the results
- You ensure the highest security standards and full compliance within the area of responsibility, consideringlaws, regulations and guidelines, including the assessment and evaluation of all potential risks
- You adopt and develop new tools, approaches and concepts on process research and development andimplement these into the day-to-day business
WHO YOU ARE
- You hold a university degree in Organic Chemistry (PhD or comparable degree); Previous industrialexperience is a plus
- You have excellent knowledge of classical and modern synthetic methods in organic chemistry and theability to consistently achieve innovative results through their application
- Experiences in flow chemistry, lab automation and application of AI tools is a plus
- You possess the willingness and ability to understand and adapt related matters important for the successof agrochemical research
- You have good organizational and leadership skills with the ability to work independently
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop collaborative working relationshipsacross locations and countries
- You can pick-up new knowledge quickly and apply it to advance current projects
- You have high problem-solving skills and the ability to structure and simplify complex tasks
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, knowledge of German is advantageous
This is a fixed-term PostDoc contract for 2 years.
