Global Talent Acquisition Senior Manager
The Position
At Boehringer Ingelheim, attracting and hiring the right talent is critical to our success. As Global Senior Manager Talent Acquisition, you will own and shape our global recruiting solution, setting the standards, governance, capabilities, and roadmap that enable exceptional hiring outcomes worldwide.
You will drive end-to-end the strategic evolution of recruiting across the organization, partnering with senior leaders, HR function and GBS, and cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve how we attract, assess, select, and hire talent globally.
This role is ideal for a senior professional who combines a strong talent acquisition background with the ability to lead through influence, align global stakeholders, and translate strategy into scalable solutions. This role is also ideal for someone who has led complex and cross functional projects.
This position has a hybrid setup with approximately 2-3 days per week on site.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Own the Effective Recruiting solution globally, defining its vision, strategy, governance, and roadmap.
- Govern global recruiting standards and policies, ensuring consistency while enabling business and market needs.
- Drive continuous improvement of recruiting processes, capabilities, and operating models to enhance hiring quality, speed, and experience.
- Shape the future of recruiting technology, partnering with HR Technology and Digital teams to optimize solutions and user experience.
- Influence senior stakeholders globally to build alignment, adoption, and commitment without direct authority.
- Lead global communities and partnerships, fostering collaboration across HR, Talent Acquisition, GBS, and business functions.
- Leverage data and insights to measure impact, identify opportunities, and drive evidence-based decisions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or a related field
- Significant experience in Talent Acquisition within a global and complex environment.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end recruiting, recruiting operations, and talent acquisition best practices.
- Proven experience leading global programs, processes, or solutions with enterprise-wide impact.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change without direct authority.
- Strong strategic, governance, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience working across cultures, functions, and geographies.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering business impact.
- Fluent in English. German is preferred.
