Process Expert / Manager - Management Accounting

The Position

Ready to transform global Finance processes?
Join us as Process Expert / Process Manager and lead the optimization of key Management Accounting processes. You will become part of a dynamic, international network that drives continuous improvement and harmonization of key Management Accounting processes such as Income Statement, Cost & Profitability Accounting, Product Costing, and Inventory Accounting.
As Process Expert / Process Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and deploying global S/4HANA template processes and ensuring Finance & Controlling excellence across countries.

Tasks  & responsibilities

As Process Expert, you will:

  • Design and optimize global Management Accounting/Controlling processes, taking ownership of initiatives that shape our financial operations.
  • Support international projects by implementing S/4HANA Management Accounting/Controlling processes across multiple countries.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, including the Global Process Owner, to identify priorities and implement process and system improvements.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for key topics such as Product Costing, CoGS consolidation, Inventory Accounting and Cost & Profitability Accounting,.
  • Work closely with global and local Finance & Controlling, IT, and global teams to operationalize corporate guidelines and optimize processes.

Additional tasks for Process Manager

  • Lead international and local project teams, ensuring successful preparation, execution, milestone tracking, and facilitating workshops across diverse cultures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Take full ownership of global initiatives, driving harmonization and transformation across countries.
  • Collaborate strategically with the Global Process Owner to define and implement process improvements at scale.

Requirements 

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in Finance & Controlling, Global Business Services, or Consulting with a focus on Management Accounting.
  • Strong SAP expertise in Controlling / Management Accounting (e.g., Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, CPA,).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects is a plus.
  • Structured, result-oriented, and proactive working style combined with intercultural communication skills. 
  • Excellent English skills; German or additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%, depending on project needs).

Additional requirements for Process Manager

  • Proven track record in global projects and/or a consulting background.
  • Several years of solid SAP experience in Controlling Management Accounting areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex international project environments, including workshop facilitation and stakeholder management.
