The Position
Join our Global Animal Health Communications team at Boehringer Ingelheim and be part of a leading company in the animal health industry! As part of Global Corporate Affairs, we serve as courageous and trusted advisors to the Animal Health Business Unit (AHBU). We craft data-driven, strategic, and integrated communications to spark dialogue, strengthen our reputation, and drive business results. Together with the AHBU we shape our communications to create a healthier tomorrow for both animals and people.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Serving as the Communications Business Partner for AHBU Global Supply, you will also play a crucial role in enhancing the AHBU’s reputation by leading thought leadership projects for different areas of the AHBU.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will leverage your experience to strategize, plan and execute communications activities for the AHBU Global Supply Group.
- As a dedicated business partner, you will be responsible for advising the AHBU Global Supply leadership on communication strategies, executing a communications plan and key change communication initiatives. You will ensure consistency across the global manufacturing site network.
- Leveraging our multi-year AHBU Reputation Plan, you will drive various projects that shape, enhance, and protect our reputation. This includes contributing to our thought leadership topics, designing and executing communication campaigns, managing product related issues and refining our success measurement strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications or related field, with a broad background and several years of relevant experience in corporate/product communications activities in a matrixed organization OR vocational training with corresponding long-term experience in corporate/product communications activities
- Proven track record in the field of strategic communications with experience as a communications business partner and in crisis and issues management
- Understanding of how to move internal and external audiences through effective communications and how to effectively run global campaigns with impact
- Excellent editorial and writing skills with the ability to think beyond the scope of this role and to anticipate its impact on others
- Collaborator with an inclusive working style, natural curiosity, and the ability to transform a strategic vision into concrete actions and plans
- Ability to anticipate business challenges, trends, internal and external stakeholders needs, as well as evolving and changing touchpoints
