Senior Manager Strategic Planning

The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Senior Manager Strategic Planning to play a key role in shaping our future. You will independently take on the conception, planning, and execution of complex strategic projects. Through in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses, you will generate strategic insights and derive concrete recommendations for decisions at the highest leadership level.
You will actively contribute to the optimization of our operational processes to enhance the efficiency of Human Pharma Germany.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your role as Senior Manager Strategic Planning, you will plan, lead, and implement strategic, cross-functional initiatives that advance Human Pharma Germany and translate strategic priorities into tangible impact.
  • In close collaboration with our senior leadership team, you will generate strategic insights, derive decision-ready recommendations, and support the preparation and follow-up of key leadership discussions.
  • You will drive strategic projects and transformation initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency, transparency, and cross-functional alignment across the organization.
  • You will support the evolution of our organizational setup by identifying future requirements, market opportunities, and emerging capabilities, including the responsible use of AI and digital solutions, to future-proof Human Pharma Germany.
  • You will develop and implement an internal communications strategy, including the coordination and preparation of internal communications on strategic priorities and organizational developments, in the form of leadership updates, townhalls and other key communication formats.
  • You will identify, evaluate, and develop concepts for business development, partnerships, and new ways of working in cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with our strategy and long-term business objectives.

Requirements

  • A successfully completed Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Economics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable degree program forms the basis of your qualification.
  • You bring several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and have profound expertise in the development and implementation of GTM models, Business Steering & Transformation, Change Management, and Business Analysis.
  • Your excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, including Research and Development (R&D), market authorization/regulatory requirements (FSA, AMG, etc.), marketing, and sales distinguishes you.
  • With your strong strategic and solution-oriented thinking and experience in cross-functional work in a large organizational unit, you have profound experience in leading complex projects, developing long-term visions, and driving transformations. Relevant professional experience in top-tier management consulting is expected and will be considered a strong selection criterion; exceptional candidates with comparable experience in high-impact strategic transformation roles may also be considered.
  • Your excellent analytical and strategic skills, your agility and affinity for digital topics complete your profile.
  • You have excellent presentation and communication skills, proven with senior management, flexibility in handling complex topics, and fluent German and English language skills.
